Howdy Tennessee Folks!!!!

Was Banded with the Swedish Gastric Band on March 31st, 2006 in Tijuana, Mexico ...Just wanted to stop in and tell everyone Hello and glad I am not alone in this down hill losing race but glad to be considered "A LOSER" once in my life!!!

how are you feeling??? I had my WLS 3/30/06 do you live in TN? and went to down to TJ for your surgery?? what do you do for post op's visit there again?? congrats on your surgery!

Maria, I am doing great...I am so shocked that I can't eat much but I love it!!! We work in the retail auction business 3 nights a week and run the concessions area...last night was my first night back...I was so jealous of everyone eating and I kept thinking..."Oh, I just wanna taste" LOL but I held back...liquids only for me right now. The rest of the time we own a Radio Station and I have no worries with food there....cause you are usually there all alone...so after I concessions area cravings out of the way I will be fine...but I look at it like this I stopped smoking in January and if I can do that I can do anything!!!! Yes I live in Tennessee...about 75 miles south of Nashville in a town called Hohenwald. I am orginally from Memphis or West Memphis, AR...I moved to Middle TN in 1996. I go back to Tijuana in 6 weeks for a post op visit. They had a little difficulty with my surgery..it was suppose to of been 30 minutes but it took 3 hours because they ran into scar tissue and other issues while doing the pocedure but they got past it and strapped that band right on there like it was suppose to go. I plan on getting with the Fill Center USA in Nashville about doing my fills. I understand that is a $299.00 set up fee and the refills are $155.00...which sounds great to me because fills in Tijuana are $150.00 and you have to get round trip air fare to have them done. But my first fill is already paid for and the air fare as well. Jeanne
