I heard from Kathy Newton.

Hey all! I heard from Kathy today, she called before I could call her. She is still in the hospital (Blount Memorial) getting pottasium(sp) thru the I.V. She is bored, so if you can give her a call that would be so nice. They still don't know what is wrong with her, so keep her in your Prayers. Kathy is such an inspiration to us all, without her I don't know what I would do. She encourages me to keep hanging in there & trying to help me when I am stressing over being put to sleep. Even while she is sick herself, she try's to keep us upbeat. I know I have probably left something out here, so please forgive me. I know she is going down stair's to do her walking because it's a longer hallway. They are sticking her quiet a *****ecking her sugar level's. Her fingertip's are quiet sore. Ok, I better get off here for now, but when I hear more I will let you folk's know. & if you all hear, post so we can keep up with her & how she is doing. Sara.

I don't really know Kathy yet, but from having one conversation with her she seems like a very strong woman I am glad to hear that you have heard from her & thank you so very much for the update on her. Kim

Thank you Sara, and yes my finger tips are bruised and sore from all the stickings. At this point I don't know what they are going to do. I was given 2 pints of blood, but the potassium they want me on, Medicare D nor the VA Medical Center covers it and it's $82 a month. I know when I see my PCP on Monday, my potassium will have dropped again. Such is life. Just another hurdle to cross. Again thank you, I enjoyed our talks. Love Kathy
