Any one know of a good dr.?
Thank you so very much Sarina! I say after I have my surgery because I have gone through so much already with this dr. (my PCP), I guess I am about a month away from getting my letter from her & if I went somewhere else right now I think I would have to wait longer than the month. But I thank you so very much for the help. Kim
Dr. Robert Neaderthal is located in the 20th Avenue Bldg right across the street from Baptist. He has been my PCP for about 8 years now.
He is very easy to talk to, doesn't talk down to you and takes the time to listen and explain things. My husband, son and daughter in law have all started seeing him too.
The 20th Avenue Building sits kind of catty corner directly across from the ER entrance to Baptist. The building you are thinking of with the workout center is Medical Plaza I & II.
The building does have a free parking garage though.
Dr. Neaderthal did write my letter for WLS and he has been a wonderful support post-op as well. He is excited for me and looking forward to following my journey. When I went to see him 2 weeks post-op he was surprised at what I had already lost and that I was already off of all diabetes meds. When I called him for my lab results a couple of days later he said we would discuss reducing some other medications at my next visit on April 21st.
He did tell me that he has another patient who is planning on having WLS this summer.
Dr. Neaderthal's office number is 321-4646.
