Dear Friends, Tell me please, is the good or bad I went to my female doctor today. She is the one who has been putting me on my diets and exercise programs for the last past 2 1/2 years. This year makes the third year I have been going. When I got there My doctor has been replaced and a new one took her place. My old doctor did not make notes of the diet program and such, she has placed me on. The new doctor said she can not write the diet history out for me because she does not know. Even when I supplied her with one of the diet/exercise written by my first doctor. She said it still will not help. But here comes the interesting news My old doctor wrote a paper to my pcp doctor for him to send in to my insurance company. It said things like my patient has been on several diets and exercise programs for the last 2 1/2 years and has gained 15 pounds on the programs. And they think it will be of great help for my high blood pressure, asthams, pcos. etc Now will the WLS doctor take that for the diets or is that what they want. Is this referral letter better than the diet lists? Please will someone give me some answers? Your friend, Tina

Tina, It sounds like this might work but I guess the WLS doctor has his own policies regarding diet history. I sure hope it all works out for you. With the letter stating your co-morbidities, I would think it would work. Hugs, Lori
