sorry to hear about the denial mark... You would probably need to contact the insurance co. to see why you were denied and what you need to do to get the appeal process going or your surgeon's office may be able to file an appeal on your behalf. good luck april

Mark, I'm going to echo April. I'm sorry about the denial. Ask your insurance company to provide specific information on why you were denied. Sometimes it can be something as simple as a document missing (weight loss history, psych evaluation, etc) or something bigger like an exclusion in the policy. Your surgeon's office should be able to assist you with an appeal. Good luck Mark! Marianne

Try, try, try again.( I know you will) But I wish I could tell you something that could help you out on this issue. They didn't tell you why you didn't approved? I wonder if you keep pushing them will they get frustrated and approve you? Keep us posted on this situation.

I am sorry to hear about your Denial Mark! I will tell you to just keep trying. Insurance Companys expect people to give up after the first denial and a lot of insurance company's have been known to deny the first time regardless. Really, you need to find out why they denied and then go from there. It is hard to give advice without knowing what the reason was for the denial. Keep us updated and keep trying for it. Misty
