APPROVED,APPROVED,APPROVED!!!!!!!

I am so excited I called Cigna this morning before school, and they transfered me to there claims division ( intracorps ) and they said " oh it looks here like you are approved for gastric bypass for the dates of May 23-25. I was like WHAT???? Oh my goodness are you sure, and he told me that yes, I AM APPROVED!!!! It was funny because the second that I hung up with him, Beth called to tell me that I was approved. She said she couldn't believe how quick that was, and now we are just waiting on the offical letter before we can get my nutritian appts out of the way, and set my date!!! I am so thrilled... yesterday was my 22 birthday and I can not think of a better present than this. I'm still so excited I can bearly sit still!!!! Luv Lots, Jacqueline

Thanks guys!!! I am still in shock I think. I mean I always expected that I would have this surgery, but I guess in the back on my mind I thought something might go wrong. Like they would stall or need more info, or be difficult in some way... But no, they were so great and so fast!!! I hope those of you that are still waiting get a answer quick!!! Luv, Jacqueline

Hey Misty and Rachael, thanks for the congrats!!! Well as far as me knowing about Dr. Torquati, I'm thinking he will be my surgen, as Christian assigned me to him. So unless they call and tell me otherwise... he's it. Wow, I didn't know that Vandy required that many days of only liquids pre-op... I thought I read people post on here it was like 2 or 3 days!!! I'm supposed to meet with Molly for my 2 pre-op visits, but I have to get my letter first!!! So I'll be running to check the mail all this week, normally it can sit there for a week, cause all I get is bills,lol. Anyway... hang in there Rachael you'll get an answer soon!!! luv, Jacqueline

Hi Birthday girl, Sara called me to tell me you were approved. I am so happy for you. I am home now again. Had to have two pints of blood yesterday. Been in the hospital enough. I've had it. Let us know when your date is, we're behind you all the way. God bless you, honey, kathy
