One Year Follow-up with Surgeon
I had my one year post-op visit with my surgeon yesterday, well, one year and one week to be exact. He was very pleased with my progress and now I only have to see him every six months.
All my labs came back great with the exception of my bilirubin which was elevated. But everything else on the liver panel was perfect so he thinks it may be that my gallbladder is starting to go bad. So, he said no greasy foods (duh) and if I develop pain in my side to see him right away. Other than that - he said I should keep doing what I'm doing.

Hi Tony, that's great news. I am hoping to come your way soon, so we can switch roles on the menu. I'll take the soup. I am just so excited for your great report. What's the total amount lost to date? How much more until you reach goal? I'm catching with you girl. Down 4 more pounds. I'm at 224 now, just having to go back on liquids has caused the plateau to start working on the weightloss. That and three days a week in physical therapy. I can't wait to see you. Love ya, kathy
I've lost a total of 115 lbs so far. I was at 152 lbs this AM and the doc said when I get down to 130-135 lbs to stop. So another 17 lbs or so to go. It may take six months to get there from here, I've been losing very slowly lately, but that's ok.
Give me a call when you get into town and we'll definitely get together.
Toni
