Who's heard about Dr. Torquati, at Vanderbilt???
Hey All,
Well I'm sooooo excited!!! I got a call on friday from Dr. Hadi giving my offical medical clearance to go ahead with surgery. Today I had my visit with Christian, he was very nice. He says it looks like I have all my ducks in a row and my packet should be ready to send off by the end of this week. My last worry was my pcp's letter of recommendation, but she did fax that in for me today!!! So God willing I will be approved soon, and on my way. I never thought that this point would come so soon!!! Christian says my surgen will be Dr. Torquati, and I have noticed on some peoples profiles that they had surgery with him, but now that he's going to be my surgern, I was hoping that anyone else that had him would share there experience. Ohhhh side note, I so wanted to get together with the other Nashville members of obesityhelp, but I have to work that weekend... I even have to work on Sunday the 2nd, my 22nd B-day!!! I'll

I'm glad you finally got the letter from your PCP. Hang in there, you day on the losers bench is coming soon. We're saving you a seat. So on the 2nd and enjoy it as your last birthday being obese.

Dr. RIchards did my surgery, but I would completely trust anyone at Vanderbilt. Christian is fantastic, and he really wants nothing but the best for his patients.
You're in great hands! I had wonderful aftercare for the staff at Vanderbilt. They were so encouraging--even one of my nurses has recently went through RNY with Vanderbilt.
