Thank y'all
Hi, I want to take this time to say Thank you for your support, prayers, and phone calls. Just hearing your voices made things a little easier to tolerate while in the hospital. I have a raw esophagus from throwing up for 2 months. There is an ulcer in my pouch, so I have to go back on liquids for 2 weeks, plus where the pouch is sewed to the intestine is inflamed. I didn't have to ask for any pain medication, it was brought to me in the evening and in the morning. My potassium is up to 4.2 without my water pills, but since they didn't give them to my, I am swelling. Catch 22.
I want to thank April for helping to keep you informed. Ron, I want to thank you too, your call was so sweet, I just wish you could get your surgery date soon. Marie, Sara, Laura, thank you too for your calls, and prayers from all of you. I miss this board when I can't keep up with y'all. Each and everyone of you are so special to me. I cried everytime I received a call. Not of saddness but of joy knowing y'all were there for me.
That's how I want to be for each of you. I may not be able to visit you when you have your surgeries, but send me a private email with your phone # whether it's your cell phone, or your hospital phone number and I will check up on each of you. Ron I will be planning on coming to see you since I'm you angel. If you have no one there for you the day of surgery or to stay with you that night, I will stay there, and be there for your day of surgery.
May God watch over all of you, and travel with you on this journey to a new you. With all my love, Kathy
Kathy,
It's good to see you up and about. I'm relieved to see your complications aren't as serious as I thought. When I got your voicemail, and you said tumor... I thought oohhhh noooo! Even though an ulcer is painful; however not as serious as a tumor. I hope you recover from these complications soon.
*hugs*
April
NO MORE HOSPITALS, I have an installed port, and if they want to help me, they can do it thru home health care. It wears me out more being admitted then it does staying home except for various appointments. Now I understand why I was constantly asked if I was bleeding when I
ed. The tumor is what they thought it was at first. But the ulcer takes up most of my pouch so I am back on liquids. That's okay. I can handle that for a while.
I am going to go to Wal-marts today to try on bras, and shirts. I need something new to up lift my spirits. Thank you for you have done. You are so appreciated. Kathy
