Happy but nervous
Lisa
Being nervous is pretty normal. I'm nervous myself and my paperwork hasn't even been sent to the insurance company yet. I can't imagine what I'll be like once I actually get to have surgery. Being nervous is typical for any surgery. Just keep thinking of all the positive good things that will result from the surgery.

Lisa, April is right, it is normal to be nervous, but forget about the doubts and second guessing on whether to do this. Just think of the new clothes, the energy, doing things you can't do now, and how beautiful you will be when you start losing the weight. I have had so many surgeries, that I don't get nervous about them. Also the more relaxed you are, the easier it will be for you during surgery. I know I made a great decision to have this, and I know you did too, or you wouldn't be as far on your journey. You can do this, I have faith in you.

Lisa, Your going to do great!! I'm so excited for you! I'm sure everyone has had some level of nerves before surgery. I know that now I'm like come on, come on, hurry up Vanderbilt... hurry up six month diet...and I'm gonna be like hurry up insurance company!!! But as soon as I get approved and I get my date, the reality of the surgery will come. I think that you have made a great choice to have this done, and you will be happy for the rest of your life that you did!!! Take care and think about how great your gonna look!!!

Hi Lisa,
I know exactly how you feel. I just had my meeting with the anesthiologist and my first pre-op nutrtion meeting and boy do you leave overwhelmed after that nutrition meeting. I did start to second guess myself. My surgery in scheduled for Feb. the 27th and I know I'm doing the right thing and so are you. Hang in there, thats what I'm telling myself.
