Need Help Finding WLS Friendly PCP, in Nashville, TN area

Can anyone recommend to me their PCP. I am new to the Nashville area and need to find a WLS supportive PCP. I haven't been on a medically supervised program, so I will need to start there first. But I want to use a PCP who has gone thru this process with another patient and who will know what to write in the letter in order to get my insurance to cover it. So if you have been approved and have already gone thru this process, PLEASE ADVISE ME Kenya

My PCP wrote me a great letter. Insurance got my paperwork Dec. 19th and I was approved Jan. 3rd. I know that doesn't seem fast compared to some people but, seriously, how much work really gets done during that time of year?! His name is Robert Neaderthal and his office is right across from Baptist Hospital - 20th Avenue Building (20th and Church, downtown). Phone is 321-4646.

My doctor is Dr. Joseph Scott at the Murfreesboro Medical Center. He has been following me for over 3 years....he is very supportive of me having WLS. He has written 2 letters for me. Hope this helps.

Hey Kenya, I am just going for my initial surgeon consult so I can't help. I talked with my PCP a little so I do not know how optimistic he is yet. But Welcome to the forum.
