2nd daughter Dx with luekemia

We adopted 5 kids-- ( all have the same birth mother) our daughter Stef was Dx'd with pre luekemia last year.. under went chem/radiation and a bone marrow transplant... she is now in remission... and doing wonderful! THANK the LORD! NOw... this past Monday--- our baby...( now 3 yr old) was Dx with the same thing... We are all in a state of shock... I am waiting on insurance approval for my surgery--- but all this may have to wait... I just thought I would tell all of you thins... and ask for your prayers!! thanks! Hi Maria, I am truly sorry this ha**** your family. I was diagnosed with Leukemia last July. What type does your children have? Mine is Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. I have to take pills every night for my chemo. I will keep you in my prayers that all will work out. Kathy

they have MDS--- myloid- dysplasia syndrome.... a pre-curser to AML.... it is crazyyyyy---------- God bless u-too!

Bless your heart and hers too. I hope that the treatment is successful. Does your insurance cover most of the cost of the treatment?

Maria, I'm so sorry about the news you've received. I went on the website link to read about Stephanie's journey. What a beautiful little girl you have. I volunteer at the Children's Hopsital here in Nashville. I'm blown away by the courage and strength these children have.
