Well.... I have a surgery date....

for ORAL SURGERY... YIKES! The wisdom teeth HAVE to come out. Not exactly the kind of surgery I'm wanting but I'll have some happy drugs huh? hehe Still no word on WLS though...gonna give it till Monday then I guess I'll have to start harassing some people The date is Feb. 23rd *hugs* April

Bless your heart!!! I'll be thinking about you. Here's an ..they could take your teeth out while they are doing WLS. Do you know what the hold up is on your WLS? Take care, Beth

Thanks Beth! Thats a great idea... I won't be able to eat anything after either way lol kill 2 birds with one stone. I swear I think I've had as many doc visits this past six months as I've had in my entire life. The hold up is the fact my pcp took a couple of weeks to get the letter of medical necessity and everything else together. I called them last Friday (a week ago) and said they would be mailing all my paperwork including food journal and exercise log to Centennial that day. I don't think it would have taken this long for mail to get from Springfield to Nashville. Very frustrating! Thanks again! *hugs* April

Hi April! You are not right! . I thought you had gotten approved already. I was excited for you. Oral Surgery! Ouch - Not so good. Well one good thing is maybe you can get some well deserved rest for a day or two while you are recouperating. I agree, maybe they can take them out while you are under for WLS!! Wouldn't that be perfect! Good luck with the oral surgery. And yes, you should follow up with the hospital to make sure they got your file from your Dr and submitted it. Talk to you later. Misty

I couldn't resist....sick sense of humor huh? I've hoped and prayed for a quick approval for WLS. I just can't believe my doc's office taking so long with a letter of medical necessity. Thank god I'm not in an immediate life or death situation needing a letter of medical necessity, I'd be dead by now lol Thanks for the well wishes! *hugs* April
