Dr. Husted DS surgery

Has anyone had a bad experience with this surgeon? I am in the process of trying to get approval through my insurance company and I want to make sure I am selecting the best doctor for my procedure.

I've heard he is pretty good. He was on the radio a few months ago talking about his bariatric program.

Hello Eve, I did not have the DS, but Dr. Husted did my RNY 6 months ago. I have been very pleased with him personally and especially with his staff. Dr. Spaw who is in partnership with Dr. Husted is also a very wonderful person. They are all very dedicated and quick to answer any questions and phone calls. They are also good about communicating thru email on non-urgent issues. I have met several of the DS patients who had surgery by either Dr. Husted or Dr. Spaw and they all say the same things.
