Thanks for the welcome. What is the most important item to take to hospital?

Phyliss, the most important item to take is your own pillow and a fan. The fan helps keep the room comfortable and drowns out the hall noise. Best of luck, Kathy

I didn't use anything I took....didn't even open the bag. The hospital supplied everything. Billie

I appreciate the information! I have read and re-read postings of every ones' journey and I thought I was getting my own journey ready, and now that my time is getting near- I don't know nothing!!! Is this a normal re-action or mabye nerves???

Chapstick was the only thing I used that I took. I was silly and thought i would have time to read or write notes. Hah! The morphine pump made sure I didn't do any of that! I basically slept the entire time and used my chapstick when my lips got dry! I never really got thirsty, and the flavored chapstick really helped! Good luck in your journey! Ashleigh
