Hello all, been awhile since I have been to the boards to do more than lurk and read a few posts. I am now about 14 months out and doing very well. not losing any weight but not gaining any either. I am about 20 pounds out from my overall goal which is not bad at all. down about 125 pounds from my starting weight. And if I never lost another pound would consider this the best decision I have ever made in my life. I feel good, and life is moving forward without the worries about what might happen in the long term. Of course if I get hit by a truck and killed at least now they wont have to wheel me to the gravesite and pall bearers might actually be able to lift my coffin(g). All kidding aside I am now at the stage of checking inot PS. I can find lots from the women on PS but nothing from the men. SO where are all the men? I know some of them have had to have PS but they are sure tight lipped about it. must be a vanity thing and they dont want it known. ok I know there have to be men who have PS, I am about 14 months out now and have had my first consult. hoping to get ins to pay for it but that is likely to be a dead end. Considering an abdominoplasty and thigh reduction. I have read the womens version of thigh lift and it doesnt sound very good, but my PS says he seldom does the lift anymore and prefers to do a reduction which he says has much better results. SO ladies, what is the difference assuming some of you have had lifts and some have had reductions? I asked about the full belt lipectomy but decided against it when he told me it required a blood transfusion and full hospital stay. Also decided against any breast implants( yes they do those for men) believe me any pecs I had can now be found around my naval. And at 50 I suppose I dont need a butt lift either. So at best I am looking at abdominoplasty and thigh reduction. the cost for the two is around 14,000.00 and if I did not have a daughter in NY in school might not be too much of a problem but right now will definately make things very tight assuming its possible at all. I would really like to hear from some men on the PS issue. pros and cons. thanks ladies for letting me hijack the board for this. hope all are having a great day.

Joe, it's been a long while. I finally had my surgery. I'm two weeks post-op today. It's been easy so far. Nothing major has happened. Sounds like you have been doing a great job so far. You take care and don't be a stranger. Kathy
