I wanna know

I wanna know if any people in the Nashville area would like to "get together" some time for support. I am 16 days post op and I think I am doing good..no throwing up, pain is not that bad...eating is still strange since I am not hungry and dont feel full...I still have a feeding tube in that I have not used once since surgery, and I hate it!!! They say it will come out next month. anyone want to do this?

Hi Michella,(what a beautiful name ) I'm not close to Nashville, but you have a good idea.Also don't forget support groups that your Dr. has for his patients,they can be very informative and you can get alot of questions answered. I go to Franklin for my meetings, and although it's an hour and a half away it is so worth it! Dr. Oxley's nurse, Pam Davis is wonderful, so friendly and..she's had the surgery herself....we have a blast !!I feel like I've known her forever. So be sure to check into when your Dr has meetings, or you are always welcome to ours..Williamsom Med Center. Billie
