I am so happy my PCP doctor look over my food dairy and told me It looks like I am following my diet real well. Then I was weighed I went from 280 to 268 in just two months. I lost 12 pounds everyone give my a hand I am doing real well and only fell off the diet for three days. I am walking the treadmill like three to four days a week. But I was told that my blood pressure is up, Like 150/70. They asked me if I am still taking my blood pressure medication. I told them I am still taking them. I do not eat salt, but I do stress out hard. I am still jumpingover the moon. I would like to thank my good friends here for their support during this very tough time. Thank you all for your help. Tina, Sounds like you're doing what needs to be done..that's great !! It won't be long and you will be a loser, too.I have not taken blood pressure meds since my surgery, and my blood pressure runs 120/70,or close all the time. I feel absolutely wonderful. I even rode a bicycle for the first time in 43 yrs.and my gr'son was amazed I could do it (although he said "it wasn't pretty"). This past 6 mos. have been wonderful....you'll see. Best of luck Billie Thanks to God, Dr. Oxley and Pam Davis

Yeah Tina. That is great! . You are doing wonderful. I went for my 1 mth check up last week and had lost 4 pounds. I was happy with that since I had to go through the holidays during my first month. I have been walking outside about 2-3 times a week. Let me tell you, that is much easier than on the treadmill. Of course I knew that 2-3 times a week wasn't enough so he said to up it to like 4 times. I do not know how to find the time!! I have learned to do some walking on my lunch break in our work garage. That helps. Those diet journals really work too! I think knowing that someone will be looking at what you have eaten and what exercise you have done keeps you motivated. I am eating my lowfat yougart this morning - Yum Yum! . Keep up the good work! And stop worrying about the slip ups. Those are going to always happen so do not let that get to you. My Dr was right when he said that if I am not going to be happy on the diet, I wil not stick to it. He said I sound happy - yeah right. But I understand what he means. He is a great motivator. Talk to you later. Have fun! Misty
