Question about port site?

Can anyone feel their port, I can and it feels like a large knot maybe the size of a egg now, I am going to the Dr on the 8th of Feb. but wondering if anyone else can feel their's and if it feels sort of big, I am afraid scare tissue has formed around it and I wonder if that will make it hard for a fill, or for some reason hard if it needed to be removed.

Misty, Hi! My port site has been like that since 10/04, unless your site is tender, red, swollen, or sorta squishy (like fluid) then you are good to go. But ask the Doc. anyway. Your concerns are important. You will have hundreds of ?'s along the way, My advice would be to write them down as they occur to you and take your list to your Dr. Best of luck,'Christy
