Had my surgery on the 10th and everything went well. So far I've not had any major pain or nausea. My incisions are a bit limiting and my energy level is down a bit but it will all pick up quickly. I met Kathy Newton at the hospital. The nurses told her I was asking about her and brought her to my room on one of her jaunts around the corridor and later met her in the hall walking. She seemed great, cheerful and ready to leave. I'm sorry to hear that she had some problems which kept her there. Hopefully she will be out soon. Mary P

Mary, Glad to see you made it home safe and sound. Good luck with your recovery. I'm experience nausea, and I stay tired all the time. You're right, things will progress, and I'm looking forward to that day. Glad you were fortunate to meet Mary. I hope one day I will get to meet Kathy. She is such an inspiration. Take care, Beth

thank you beth, any time I'm in Nashville seeing my sons, we can meet up. I'm now home. Very tired, but glad to be home. I wasn't nervous a bit. I was so out of it most of the time, that even when they cross matched my blood for more blood it didn't phase me. I was able to tell them that I am A-, I knew my potassium was down to critical, so I had to stay longer. My older son stayed with me the first two nights in the hospital. It was a comfort just knowing he was there. He's the one that did the two updates. I'm tired of sitting up so I am going to get horizonal for a while. Love Kathy
