Surgery on the 16th!!

Hello, This is my first post in this forum. I'm scheduled for surgery on Monday the 16th. I am so excited. I had trouble losing my pre-op weight over the holidays, but I buckled down this week and with God's help and the help of a great dietician, I lost enough weight to be approved for the surgery on Monday!! I would appreciate your prayers on Monday and the days to come. I know that it won't be easy, but it will most definitely be worth it to finally be healthy. Thank you & God Bless!!

Hi Dionne. WOW, the surgey date was soon- of couse not fast enough I am sure. Keep us updated on your progress. Congrats on the surgery. This weekend will go by fast since you probably have a lot to do to prepare. I wish you much success on your journey to weight loss and better health. Misty

Hi Misty, Thanks for your well wishes! I have been preparing for this for at least a year. My insurance approved the surgery in November of last year, so it hasn't been too quick. I read your page. I really hope that things work out for you! I will keep you in my prayers. Thanks again! Dionne

Dionne, Conulations on your upcoming surgery. You are lucky to get a surgery date so fast. Monday will be one of the best days of your life. I'm 2 weeks post-op today. This was the best decision I've ever made. May God be with you on Monday. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Take care, Beth

Hi April, My dr. required that I lose 10% of my base weight, which ended up being about forty lbs. I ended up being a little shy of that, but thankfully he approved the surgery anyway. Did your dr. require the same thing? Thank you for your prayers, and I will keep you posted. Thanks again! Dionne

Hi. I've not posted before today either. My surgery is also on the 16th at Centennial in NAshville. Dr Dyer is my surgeon....anyone out there who will be in the hospital with me????? Good Luck and God Bless to all
