Dr.Charles Morton?????

I had my first appt w/ the ins representative on 1/11/06 and am waiting for ins approval before I have my appt set up w/Dr.Morton, just wanted to see if anyone had ever met w/him or had the lap band performed by him. If yes please send me msg back letting me know how your experience was w/his office and w/him personally.

Sorry Cynthia, don't have any information on Dr. Morton. But I just wanted to say hi! I spent 4 years in Bowling Green at Western. I live just over the state line now. Good luck!

Charles Morton is a great surgeon. He saved my life years ago when my appendix burst. I did go to see him when I started my search for wls...I did not like his nurising assistant, she had that air about her..also, once they found out medicare would not send a pre approval letter, but would cover the surgery they would not even concider doing it unless I paid up front or went through a loan company they had pamplets for at their desk. I did not like this at all. About 8 months after my initial visit I received one of those loan papers in the mail from them...To me they want money, not healthy patients. I would advise everyone I meet from this day forward to go to Vanderbilt. I had my surgery on the 6TH!!!!....It still hurts like the dickens but I am here!
