Feeling Shaky!
I am in the 4th day of the "CIB shake" liquid preparing for surgery on the 17th. I never thought I would NOT want to taste anything chocolate again. (Maybe that IS the point?) I have been heating up low sodium chicken broth and having it at night for the change of taste.
Today, I am starting to feel nervous and apprehensive but NOT doubtful about my decision.
Any suggestions on how to calm the shaky-panic thing going on here?

Hi Cindy,
Congratulations on your upcoming surgery! I haven't had surgery yet, but I'm sure everyone at some point in their journey goes through the nervous apprehensive stage. I would recommend focusing on life after surgery. Think about the things that will change for the better...the weight you'll drop, things you will be able to do, the health benefits, the new clothes (hehe)..things like that. Good luck!
*hugs*

Hi Cindy. The day is almost here! Congrats. I am sure after 4 days of that drink, anyone would feel nervous.
. It is completely normal to go through the feelings you are having. Just know you have a lot of support and will do just fine. Everything happens for a reason and what is meant to be is meant to be. God brought this blessing into your life. If He didn't want you to go through this, then you wouldn't be. Trust it.
By the way, you are hilarious. I loved reading your profile. You have such a great attitude. I am hoping to have surgery in July and if it gets confirmed, I am going to start going to the Vandy support groups - especially after reading the good things you had to say about them. Maybe we will run into each other then. Of course, you will already be skinny minny by then.
. I wish you much success on your journey to weight loss and better health.
