Questions of the Day??

Good Morning Fellow Tennesseans (and visitors). Happy New Year! I know , I know. I have been slacking on my board duty of asking questions so we can all get to know each other. I will work on that. I want to say WELCOME to all of the newbies who have joined us in the past couple of months to the TN boards. And CONGRATS to the several people who have had surgery recently and the few that are about to have surgery in the next couple of weeks. I wish you all well. So here are my questions to get to know you: 1) Do you have any bumper stickers on your vehicle? 2) How did you ring in the New Year? 3) What was the last movie you saw in a theater? 4) Will you watch the Superbowl? 5) Tell us something about yourself that you don't mind sharing that we don't know about you. My Answers: 1) No bumper stickers- Just a Jack Ball on my antenna. 2) Watched the ball drop on TV and then turned back to a movie we were watching (so exciting!) 3) My husband and I are major movie goers - at least twice a month. I believe the last movie we saw was King Kong. 4)Yes - I love football (poor poor Titans - so upsetting. There's always next year) 5) hmmmmm. secrets secrets. Not sure I ever told you that I am a Twin. Fraternal.

Hey Misty , How's that diet going??? I haven't lost any weight since October on my diet. I'm so sick of it! Anyways, been wondering what you been up too..haven't seen you on the boards in a while. Take Care! 1) No bumper stickers... think its a little tacky! But I do have a window cling decal that says WKU Alumni 2) I was suppose to go to a new years eve party at church but got ready to go and the car wouldn't start I was freaking out!! My husband works 3rd shift so of course he was sleeping and too tired to fool with it even though he was off from work...I have no problem letting him sleep. He finally woke up around 11 and he fixed it...just a bad battery! So we got to watch the ball together and got in our New Year's and I went to 3) I love going to the movies! The last movie I saw was The Family Stone... it was ehhhh alright I suppose. I saw King Kong last weekend. It was I really thought I got my $8 worth. It had everything..action, drama, love, comedy..everything. 4) Not a big football fan. The Titans really suck this year. What are they 1 in 16?? Its hard to believe they made it to the Superbowl a few years ago. 5) Hmmm.....I can make suction/farting sounds with my feet when standing on any hard surface... I have no arches in my feet! A little weird and huh???

Hi Misty, It's good to see you back online. . Let's see if I can answer all the questions... 1. Only bumper sticker on my car is my college logo. 2. I spent New Year's Eve recovering from surgery. ( I had bypass on 12/30/05). Some people with champange; I celebrated with Dilaudin (sp?) 3. The last movie I saw was Family Stone. If you enjoy seeing Sara Jessica Parker throw a fit for 2 hours; it's worth it. My mom and I are going to see Last Holiday on Friday. I can hardly wait!! 4. YOU BET!! I'm a huge football fan. I don't really care who wins. I just love football. 5. My junior year in high school; I got to sing in the cathedrals of Europe. A big group from 2 high schools went. It was a trip of a lifetime. I can't wait to go back to Florence, Italy. Thanks from staying in touch. Take care, Beth

Since the Titans are going to the superbowl, I won't be watching it 5. I found out in 1999 that I had a sister who is 8 years older then I. Dad was busy at the age of 15. Love ya, kathy

1) No stickers. I considered 'Imagine Whirled Peas' but forgot about it. 2) I didn't ring it in at all. I forgot about it. 3) I love movies but I hate theaters so I'm usually a couple of months behind most people. The Wedding Date has been my favorite lately. 4) I'll watch the Superbowl if I remember. (Are you seeing a trend here?) Love those commercials! 5) I can pick up small objects with my toes. Mary P
