I have great so far on 1500 diet
Greetings friends,
Sorry I have not been visiting lately. I had tech troubles with my computer and still having them.
I just want to say that I am about to start my second month on my diet. I finished with all the test such has Upper GI and glabladder test..They were tastless.. My mother wants me to have my heart check for the surgery so no surprises happen during and atfer surgery. I have not heard back on the test results yet. Took the test Tuesday 27,2005 so I know I got to wait. I have been so stressed out that I started smoking again, Which only happens when I get stress it is how I handle things.
I think I have lose some weight on this diet early at that. I shretched and my pants fell down to my knees in front of my mother. I got red in the face and yank them up, But she laughed and is telling everyone the weight I loss. I feel kinda under pressure to do more but I get stress out.
Does anyone know Of a nurtientist I can go too in Knoxville? I also have a new web site that is on www.foodnetwork.com It is the Calorie Commando. I watched some of his show and he tells you how you can use this instead of that and tells you the calories in the food too and how much serving size you can have.
Can anyone answer me this, Why do we have to endure 6 months dieting until surgery? Won't three months have the same results? What happens if you lose to much weight do you still get the surgery? I was wondering why. Does anyone have the answer to that? Why do the doctors not have test run on our hearts so we do not have heart failure? Would that not be a smart thing to do. We are big poeple with health problems and usually that is what causes the deaths in poeple our size and such. We have a lot to live for and I think we should check the organ that can cause death in people in our health and size range, exspecially if we are having surgery. My question is Why?
Hi Tina,
everyone knows if they have heart problems or not, plus when you register at the hospital, you will get a chest x-ray and an EKG. If something shows up, the surgeon will post-poned the surgery until you see your heart DR. as you will need a clearance before you can procede with the surgery. As for the diet, the companies want to see if you will stick with the surgical tool for life, before they invest a lot into your surgery, then not stick to it. Don't worry, you won't lose enough in 6 months to keep you from having the surgery. You are expected to lose 1-2 pounds a week on this diet, just like you would do if you have the lap-band. Don't start smoking, you can't smoke and have the surgery. Find another outlet for your stress, I have gone from smoking to dum dum suckers. Well, I'm off here, need to shower and get ready for a long drive to my final appointment before surgery with my surgeon. I have to bring a support person with me, who better then a post op.

Kathy,
Thanks for your advice. I think I will find something else to do. I felt really sick this week and have not excise this week. I just felt so bad having problems with my balance and everything. I will stop smoking and find another stress relaxer. I hope your surgery goes off fine. Soon you will be a whole new woman.![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/mbgraphics/emoticons/clap.gif)
