Hi Terry. Yes, most insurance plans - that allow the surgery - will allow the surgery if you have a BMI of 35 and have at least 2 co-mobidities (weight related health issues). You need to review the specifics of your insurance plan to make sure it is included and what they will need from you (6 mth diet ..etc). I wish you well on your journey! Misty

Thank you Misty. Everyone on this board is so willing to help and answer questions. I have several co-morbidities related to obesity such as hypertension, type II diabetes, sleep apnea, joint pain, depression and several more. Terry
