I made it THrough surgery!!!

hello all I just wanted to let you all know I,m ok I had surgery the 19th an all went well until i was recovering in my room . I had just walked around the nurses station an came back to the room . an was feeling short winded an went to sleep. well I was on morphine an at the time they didn,t know I han Phnewmonia.{can't spell} anyway my oxygen level had droped in the 40s an they couldn't wake me they worked an worked but somthing about phnemonia sleep apnea an morphine was not a good mix for me. after working so long I found out later they were getting close to putting a tube in a trekaottimy or somthing but they gave me a shot of narcan an that gives you a rush or somthing to bring you out of narcotics. I could see everyone working on me but there was no sound it was the weirdist feeling, i could see the panic on everyones face an tears but i couldn't hear anything but wind blowing by my ears. I thoght i was dead. I didn't know an it scared the crap out of me. well after they got me stable an my hearing was starting to come back from the oxygen drop they moved me to another icu room. were long story short they thought the next day that i had had a heart attack durring the episode. so they did ekgs al day they said my ensimes in my heart had elevated. they even did a ctscan to check for blood clots but on thursday they rulled out a heart atack an thought the shot of narcan my have caused the elevation of my ensimes. so i got to come home on friday the 23ard. so I'm week from all the blood drawn an i'm going to rest alot . But I'm on my way to recovery. Thanks for all the prayers Tom

Hi Tom, I'm glad to see you made it through!! I'm so sorry to ready you had pneumonia, though. Were you sick before surgery? I'm getting ready for surgery. I've been doing the Carnation Instant Breakfast/Slim Fast diet this week. It went a lot better than I thought it would. I'm so ready for Friday! Keep up the great work, and I'm glad your ok. Happy Holidays Tom! I am so glad to hear you are at home and resting now. I am sure you can rest and recouperate much better at home. I hate to hear the complications you had. Luckily, all turned out ok. It is just one more experience you will have to look back on during your journey to see what you overcame. Get lots of REST and Dont forget to drink drink drink! Misty
