Medic Alert

I am a medic alert member. They are asking for everyone having this surgery to please register with them and to purchase either a necklace or a braclet. Having this on your record, can alert an ER that you have had gastric bypass and they will take immediate action to make sure you are taken care of immediately. Membership is only $20 a year, the necklace or braclet is $30. This will list your allergies, the surgery, your PCP and surgeon, next of kin. I didn't know there was a yearly fee to have a medic alert bracelet. I wonder if that keeps some people from getting the bracelet/necklace? I know you're getting excited. Let me know if you need anything. Toni
