Tn Surgery date
Hi Linda,
I had all my pre-op testing done at Baptist Hospital. It consisted of blood work, urine sample and a EKG in the morning. In the afternoon I had my chest x-ray, upper GI, and leg ultrasound. After that I went to Dr. Husted's office and met with the nutritionist for the nutrition class. Everything was arrange by the office for me, I just had to show up at the hospital. If you live far away I'm sure they can arrange fro you to have it done through your PCP.

Take care of yourself. Don't overeat, especailly fatty stuff. A fat stuffed liver can be more prone to injury during surgery. Just keep yourself busy, like that would be hard this time of year.
Best post surgery advice, WALK. As soon as you can, even though you don't feel like it, WALK> Slowly but surely it does help you feel better and helps the gas pain go away. The more you walk the better you feel.
Drink ISOPURE. Where are you at? Who is your surgeon? I've got a few bottles of no carb ISopure you can have. It's clear liquid, helps you keep up your strength after the surgery when your in the clear stage.
I live behing Hamilton Place.
