Well all is going good in my world. I started a job about 6 months ago. Just recently changed positions at said job thanks to my former supervisor
. I am really enjoying this new position. This new position consisted of me actually moving in. Which in itself has been rather interesting since I moved from moms which basically equals absolutely no furniture.
up until a week ago I was sleeping on a futon matress on the floor. Now I actually have an air matress and a couch that can lay flat into a bed (almost futon like except it has springs). I also picked up a huge coffee table with storage and two end tables at a yard sale. A lady from work is going to be bringing me a dinning table as soon as her husband finishes and passes his stress test. So slowly but surely everything is coming together. Of course the funny thing is this job I have has absolutely nothing to do with the degree I got in December (paralegal) but I am absolutely enjoying it. The weird thing is I actually think Im going to be in this field for the long haul. I hate that I spent all that time in school for a degree I am more than likely not going to use. However I just think of the people I met while in school and I figure there had to be a reason why I went through all that. Im pretty sure there is a reason why Im in the job Im in now. I actually feel that this job is where I belong and according to a job/interests test I took my first yr of college healthcare is the field that was actually suggested. Should have listened to it then huh ;) but then I wouldn't have met all the wonderful people I met while I was in college. Anywho I believe I have begun to ramble so Im gonna get off here and get to bed 6 am comes awful early. *huggles*

Kathy,
When you are hot try to think of a Ice cube. Try the mind over matter treatment, sometimes it help's me out when I am getting too hot and I feel like I can not breathe. It helped me, I think it might help you. Or you could fill a large freezer bag with Ice and lay it on your shoulders or fore head to cold you off. You could sit next to a slightly openned window so the breeze can help you. I know these suggestions are not much help, but the sweat pants and those leg bags for fluid are only for a little while. You will some be the proud owner of a new healthy body and will feel great like turning cart wheels again. Lots of hope and love and support is with you right now.We are all praying for you and this surgery.
Your friend in this fight,
Tina
