Need help finding apt or hotel for 3 weeks...
...stay in Nashville!! My pre-op testing is the Monday before my surgery, and then I have to be there for my 2 week check-up, so we need a place to stay for about 3 weeks. Looking for the best deal for extended stay. We aren't fancy and don't have lots of money, heck, we live in a tincan with wheels!!! Just need a CLEAN place to stay that we can be near Baptist Hospital, say with in 25 miles of it!!

Congrats on your upcoming surgery! i would suggest staying in Gallatin while you are here. It is about a 30 minute drive from the center of town to Baptist Hospital in average traffic, and since it is a pretty small town, the hotels are very inexpensive -- and there are a couple of pretty nice ones. You can google "gallatin, tn hotels" I am sure to get a list. Good luck with your surgery!

Hi Patty, There's some off I65 North at the Goodlesville/Rivergate Mall exit in Goodlesville. That's about 1/2 hour from Nashville. I64 North at Trinity Lane exit is a Red Carpet, they charge by the week and have kitchenettes. The farther north you go from Nashville you will pretty well find motels that are cheaper. However should you choose to go to Galletin, take the Henderson exit and go to Galletin that way. If you take the Galletin exit, you will go about 17 miles out a windy road. There are a lot of great hotels in the suburbs of Nashville. The ones in town are quite a bit more expensive. I happen to live in Hermitage, which is right off I-40, which takes into Nashville & on to Baptist. It usually takes me about 20 minutes to get to Baptist from where I am.
I could call some places for you if you want prices, etc. Hermitage is 2 exits from the airport, just in case you are flying in.
