Thanksgiving weekend Roll Call

Lets hear how your weekend was. How many of you over stuffed yourself? Don't be shy, tell the truth. Mine was quiet as it was just me. I didn't cook, but my landlady sent over a plate when they were done. It was the first real food I had eaten since being in the hospital. She's a great cook. Today I am just trying to clean my kitchen while I fight a mouse. Worthless cat just chases it but won't catch it. y'all Kathy

Well I spent mine working. I am a live in companion for two mentally and physically challenged ladies. One went home for Thanksgiving and the other well, her family doesn't do much of anything with her. Luckily her boyfriends parents came and took her out for dinner and a movie. So I got a couple of hours with my family and boyfriend. Of course I did all the cooking and eating was rather interesting since I have basically no furniture. Hehe no furniture but Ive got dishes and candles coming out of my ears ;) *huggles*

This year was completely different for me... I had two invitations for dinner, and I didn't have to cook at all, just buy some things and take along. Of COURSE I ate too much- not at the first dinner, but after the second, when we'd visited for a while and started to pick at leftovers. Problem is, I've been eating too much ever since!
