If you had a time machine and you could visit the past, what time would you visit? What can I say, I am a youngin and this may be superficial since there is so much history in the past 2000 years I could go back and see but I think I would go back and go to an Elvis Presley concert! He was before my time but I would love to be able to experience that. Hopefully you will have a better answer than me! haha Have fun with it. Misty

Hey Misty! I'm a youngin myself and would love to have experienced the Elvis craze. My grandmother who is only 58 was absolutely in love with Elvis. She told me this story of how when Elvis came to town in his bus, girls from all over surrounded the bus and she jumped onto one of the mirrors and held on like she wasn't ever going to let go hehe But really I think I would like to live in the 1910-1920, upper class of course preferably in the south and definitely thin!! Even though the US was about to embark into WWI, there was a sense of innocence about everything and of course a man acted as a gentleman, the clothing of a true southern belle. The progressive movement was beginning and of course the tragic sinking of the Titanic. I think I would really enjoy the romanticism of that time. I think I would also want to go back to the mid 1950's and through the 1960's just to be apart of the free speech movements, women's rights, minority rights...LOL *picturing myself burning my huge 48 D boulder holder!!* LOL If you can't tell, I'm highly influenced by democratic ideals and love history! ~hugs for all~ April

Misty, I think I'll by pass the 50's, that was baby boom time, I lived them once, I'll pass the second time around. I think it would be back before the civil war, the outfits were great, as men were truly gentlemen. Then get back to this time frame before the war broke out. I wouldn't want to live that time frame too much, allergic to 's . Still trying to focus a little better. Sorry I haven't been on all day, haven't been home until 2 hours ago. Off to fix dinner so I can dirty up my kitchen again. LOL Kathy's

All of these answers are great. I think I would also like to "visit" the time when women wore those big dresses and walked around with an umbrella riding in the horse carriage with men being gentlemen - at least in public. I would have also like to visit the womens movement because l am all for that. I hate not being in control and especially leaving it up to a man - sheesh - look where we are today leaving all of the decisions up to a man -- no offense gentlemen. Thanks for the answers! Misty
