The Best News Ever.....

Hi everyone, heard from Dr. Colquitt's office, he has accepted my shrinks letter, and my oncologists report. I go back for another weigh in on Nov. 10, and to finish what ever else I need to do like most likely see his nutrionist. He hasn't said anything about it, but he knows I have seen 2. Has anyone else who has had him had to see a nutrionist? I am soooo Happy. I'm sitting on cloud 9 right now. This is so some ones dust must have landed on my head. I am for joy. Well I need a short nap as I didn't sleep last night, and was still awake at 6am, finally got up at 9am, the phone has not stopped ringing all day. Later my friends, love Kathy

It's just like going to therapy! With me I had to see a therapist 1st then about 3-4 weeks later I got to see the Doc. He or She is going to determine whether they think you are prepared for the long term emotional issues that will arise from this surgery...Be very knowledgable of the procedure... Be confident... Know what you want and know that you can do this!!They need to know that you are prepared to do this for the rest of your life! If your insurance allows you might want to go to therapy for awhile I did and it helped me through the transition of pre-op to post-op! They just asked me a lot of ?'s about my sincerity and commitment to a new life style. You can do it girl..I gots tha faith in ya!!! Christy Dawn Light Live Beautiful!

I was a night owl until I started having to take chemo pills, now I have a hard time staying a wake, but once in bed, I can't sleep. But I have a feeling tonight I will have no trouble sleeping. I want to thank each of you for your support and encouragement. With my love Kathy

I made a boo boo, the Dr.'s appointment is on the 8th of Nov. instead of the 10th. Just two weeks. It's a good thing I have major appointments coming up, like allergy shots, chiropractor, thyroid Dr., hopefully all this will help make the time go faster. Love ya, kathy "-D
