Why

Just got off the phone with bcbs, said I was denied... Really upset right now with that bunch. Done everything they ask for.. This insurance game is just that a game.... got a call into Vandy to the insurance person there to see if she got a letter yet.... they sent them out 10-18 telling me what I didn't have they wanted.. .. I am so mad.... just had to vent... thanks.

Hi Kip, did they say why you were denied? Don't give up. Keep fighting them, BCBS have major issues. Don't give up. Find out what else they want, and don't forget your surgeons office will be appealing. But you need to find out what they are looking for to get approved. Someone wants said that BCBS often sends out a denial right off the bat, but it's the computer that does that. Call them, and fight for your right to a healthier life. You deserve it. Hi KK Sorry to hear that you are having such a horrible time with BCBS. Dont give up as Kathy said & fight like hell with the appeals. I heard that BCBS was behind with a bunch of paperwork but no give up no matter what . You hang in there We're all pulling for Ya Kip Kat I'm going to Vanderbilt too. Please keep us posted ML

Hi Kip Kat, Sorry to hear about the denial. Hang in there and keep trying. Hopfully it's only a little piece that was ommitted that can be added to your chart. It really is a game and you just have to play it aggressively until you win. Hang in there!!! Lisa

You know I am right there with you....my paperwork has been sent off to BCBS state of Tennessee Plan also. It will not even show up in their computer until it has been denied or approved. I was told to call back on Tuesday maybe a decision would be made then. We are changing POS providers in January and I believe all claims are getting denied based on that. I would gather everything they said they were missing and send it to them ASAP. Then wait and see what they say.....

Hey Kip read todays quote, don't give up on your dreams, you have just started, now it is the time to fight the system. Honey if I gave up after each denial, I would not be where I am getting ready for a surgical date if I gave up. I beg you to hang in there and do everything possible to get approved. Love Kathy
