I AM HAVING SURGERY........
Dr. Colquitt has agreed to do my surgery, after I see my Oncologist on Oct. 18 and she clears me for surgery. He's looking at abut 6 weeks after that. 
He wants me to lose 10 pounds, and I have to quit smoking one month prior to surgery. I've already lost 20 from when I had seen him before. My Oncologist said she would let me know if I can have surgery when she sees me after one month. That will be Oct. 18. No wonder I had butterflies last night. Between Missy getting her date, and me finally getting a surgeon after 2 years, 11 denials, and finding out I have leukemia, I am over whelmed to say the least. Love ya, Kathy

I want to thank each and everyone of you. It has been a long hard road, and until I get a clearance from my Oncologist it's not over yet. But I have come this far, I'm not going to give up. I'll give up when my number comes up. Thank you for your support, prayers, and love thru out all this. I have an appointment with Karen at Vandy for a psych evaluation on Oct. 27th. I've never heard anyone being denied for surgery because of her evaluations. Since my son and Grandson have their birthdays on the 26th, it won't be a problem getting to Nashville.
