Depressed
I am so darn down and just cant seem to shake it.
I'm a few weeks away from my one year anniversary. I've lost a total of 163lbs, counting the 20 I lost before surgery.
My problem is I haven't been able to exercise much since my neck surgery on June 30th, so I'm stuck at 220ish pounds. I know in my heart this is good, but I feel like my timeframe for losing is fast escaping me and I'll still be fat.
To top it all off, I also have been ravenous lately. Almost to the point I worry I have ripped my sutures out of my tummy and have a huge stomach again.
Sorry to whine, but noone else understands stuff like this but you guys.
Kelly

Kelli sweetie, you have lost 163 lbs forever. You should be proud of yourself, I'm proud of you. You're still 56 lbs lower then me. Just think back a little over a year ago, what you weighed. Sweetie, you need to realize that you have just had more surgery and can't work out until your tummy heals, plus the neck. You WILL get back on track when your body has healed. Every one most likely feels this way after having a tummy tuck. I know one who feels this way, Peggy Allen, she had her tummy done in July, 1st yr anniversary in Sept, plus just had her breasts done. She's not able to do much right now, but she loves her new breasts that it keeps her from worrying too much about not losing it all. They say it takes 18 months to 2 years to get to your goal. One Day at a Time. You didn't put that weight on over night, you certainly weren't born obese weighting almost 400 lbs. so be patient with yourself. Just stick to watching what you eat, get in your protein, and water, then when your body is healed, the rest of the weight will come off. I have confidence in you, don't let me down. Love ya, Kathy
Hi Kelly,
Congrats on your weightloss! I'm so incredibly proud of you. I'm sorry to hear that you had neck surgery. I hope you are healing well from that. Please don't give up hope. Don't give up hope. I know you will be fine.
Please know you can whine anytime. I haven't had the surgery, but I love being here to support people. Let me know if I can do anything to help.
Hang in there. You are doing a great job!!!!!
