Where is everybody

Hello all, I am a closet member of the Tennesse board. I am hoping to have lapband in November. I really enjoy reading everyones posts and have notice that there is not much action here lately. I just wanted to thank everyone for sharing your stories and hope you will continue doing so. Tammy

Hi Tammy aren't you glad you came out of the closet, must have been a real drag staying in the closet. It's much more fun not staying in the closet. We go thru periods like this. Last year was a lot of activity, then everyone started getting their surgeries, then they got a life. Here is about the same thing, surgeries, school starting, and then they get a life. I know several are worried that TnCare won't cover their surgeries come the New Year, trying to find a Dr. who will take TnCare because of all the cut backs is even harder. I'm seeing my surgeon tomorrow afternoon to see if he will take me on as a Medicare patient. He only takes a select few Medicare patients. I have Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia, so I have been praying hard that he will give me a chance for a better life. Even if all I get out of this is energy, then I can fight this disease.
