Hi Again
Hello folks. I was here several months ago before my WLS. Just wanted to check in and say hi.
I just now signed up but haven't entered my personal journal in my profile yet or sent my picture.
I am doing great and losing weight pretty well.
This web page will give you more info until I can get it into my OH profile. I hope it is clickable.

JOHNNIE'S WEIGHT LOSS JOURNAL #2
The only one I remember from the last time is Kathy Newton. My son,Stacy Garner had his surgery the same day Peggy (last name?) did on 7/29/04.
until later,
Johnnie
Hi Johnnie, I am still around and still trying. I see Dr. Colquitt on Wednesday. I was supposed to see him in July, but I found out the day before that I have a rare form of Leukemia. So I am still proceeding while I am in the very early stages to have this surgery. Then I will have more strength and energy to fight this disease. So how much have you lost? When was your surgery and who was the surgeon? Being from Maryville, says you might have gone thru Dr. Ray or Dr. colquitt. There's a Peggy Allen that had her surgery a year ago. She had her tummy tuck in July and on Tuesday she has her breasts done, in November she will either go for the arms or thighs, she's not sure which. We got a chance to meet, and now we're on the phone or on email every day. We wait until it's after 9pm to call on our cell phones, it's free then as she's long distance from me.
Keep more in touch, these newbies need a lot help and guidiance from a post op.
Take care Johnnie, Always, Kathy
Hi Johnny, I was to see Colquitt in July, but I just found out I had leukemia. It was rescheduled for this Wed. The office called and they had to reschedule it for the 28th. Darn, I was hoping to finally get some good news on Wednesday for my birthday coming up. Now I'll have my birthday before I see the surgeon. I am seeing a new Oncologist tomorrow. I pray she's better then the male that I had. Either way someone is going to be drawing blood from me tomorrow. I don't post as often, mainly there to help the newbies, and to post inspirational quotes that I get in my email daily. I'm still hanging in there and I haven't given up yet. At least I don't plan on giving up until death we do part. I don't write in the journal of my experiences, I write my thoughts and feelings, my emotions on that day. Need to eat, so will catch up with you later, I'll check out your profile when I am done. Always, Kathy
PS: met the lady Oncologist and really like her. Get this for 3 pills a month (chemo) is $3000, that's 36,000 a year. Good thing I am a veteran.
