Camden - Paris Area HELP!

Hello TN'ers! I am planning to move to TN from New Jersey. It is between Paris and Camden. Can anyone tell me if there are doctors for post-op care in this area, and if the area is nice to raise a 1 and 2 yr old? We were there a few weeks ago to check out the area over the weekend and to look at a few houses. I would love some first hand help. Hi Sue I know where Paris & Camden is located As far as doctors, most people who live around those areas usually head to Nashville for most of their medical needs because these small towns dont have to much to offer. I live in Lobelville which is down the road a bit from Camden and we have to go to Nashville. I used to live in NJ too years ago in Medford Lakes. Small world, huh ?? Hi Susan! Because of where you are(will be), I would imagine Dickson would be closer to you than Nashville, and my surgeon is there. His name is Dr. Huerta and he is out of horizon Medical Center in Dickson. He has great bedside manner (a rarity in surgeons!) and a wonderful staff -- he also has great follow-up care with high emphasis placed on support groups (usually he is there, along with the PT and the nutritionist). Hmmm... I'd say either Dickson or Clarksville would be closer than Nashville. Okay, mapped it, Dickson is 43 miles from Camden, Clarksville is 60 some. So Dickson is closest. I live near Camden in McEwen. Welcome to Tennessee!

Thanks everyone for responding. We put an offer on a house in Paris yesterday. So Tennessee here we come!
