Back and Feeling Good!!

Just a note to let all of you who sent notes of support and prayers that I am home and doing great!! I actually got home on Wed 8/17.. 2days after surgery. I walkd the first nite... ate Ice chips.. The next day I drank water,, did fine. The worst part of the surgery is the IVs.. not that they hurt but that they were cumbersome. I had a good weekend and decided to go to the office for part of the day... I really do have many blessings...praise God. Oh I almost forgot... I have lost 11 lbs as of this morning. I have my follow up apt with the Dr. day after tomorrow.... Bye for now... Love, Anndee

Anndee, It's great to hear that you are doing so well. I will continue to pray for you and hope that you continue to do so well! My surgery is October 3rd ( 40 days!!!!!!!) and I hope that I do as well as you have. I wanted to ask, have you had any problems with the drain tube post-op? I think that is my biggest fear - when they take that out (ouch!!!! ) Good luck again and I'll be thinking of you!! Charmin
