I had lapband surgery TODAY!

I am finished with my surgery and home, and luckily I have had very little pain. I am tough I guess...I mean, after having had three kids, how bad can some small incisions be? (lol) My siginificant other has already gone to bed, since he was tired from just driving me and waiting, but he is also relieved that I am not a total invalid as we had feared. I found out that I lost 10 lbs. just doing the pre-op diet, which also gives me a mental boost. For those of you considering this, I would say it may not be as bad as some people say. Congratulations, Christine! I hope you have a speedy recovery on your way to being a big "loser"! I can't wait till next month when I'll be on the losing side with you!

Good luck with your lapband. I know that you will have a best friend for life. Just remember to work that band and you will become a big looser. I am waiting on a date to have the lapband. I hope it;s real soon , if it's Gods will. good luck hope to hear more about you and your band. Best wishes.
