Help. Doctor that accepts Medicare

Hello. I'm hoping someone will be able to help me. I am trying to locate a doctor in the Chattanooga, TN area that will accept Medicare. My husband would like to have this surgery because he has many health problems due to his weight. Both of us are severley overweight. I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield of TN, but WLS isn't covered. I would be happy if my husband could have WLS so that he may have a longer, happier life. Thanks again for your help Chris

Hi Chris, I can't help you regarding Chattanooga, but my surgeons accept Medicare, but they don't accept it for every patient. They select certain patients with Medicare. I am praying they will accept mine. Here's their number: Premier Surgeons Dr. Colquitt and Dr. Ray 865-984-3413. They're located in Maryville just south of Knoxville. I hope this helps your husband. Hey Chris! My surgeons accept all insurance including BC/BS. Dr. George Lynch and Jaime McDowell. Their phone number is 615-329-7887. They are in Nashville. If you cannot use them they may be able to refer you to someone in your area.
