surgeon

I have an appointment with Dr. Melvin at Vanderbilt on the 25th, anybody every used him. Any comments would be appreciated. I am in process of gathering up my records, I haven't used my primary physician for 5 years, I moved to Tennessee and didn't have anyone for awhile, except by orthopedic guy....so I will try to get his records...he did surgery on me and you know they weigh you before surgery, it will also show my knee problems.... Reading this site has really helped me, it gives me encouragement to keep up with the process. You don't know how much it mean to all of us who just lurk around and read posts. I have been reading this site for over a month and don't usually post, just read and learn....Thanks to all who have the courage to bear their soul.

Hi Lisa, you are right this is the best board. In the two years of researching, the last year of reading and posting, I have made some really great friends. We're here to listen, pray, advise, and to help anyone who needs it. Sometimes someone may just need to vent their angry and frustration. That's ok, most of us have been down the same road and we do understand. Time for you to quit lurking and join the posting. Even if it seems embarrassing, remember we're all obese and understand the embarrassing parts. May God travel with you on your journey, Kathy

Lisa I have been home for 10 days-all went well and he was wonderful!! Although I didnt spend much time with him-he was very attentive-also he has a wonderful PA-Chrisitian--he is wonderful (and Cute)!
