DENIED THIRD TIME

Just want to update and let everyone know my news was not good. Exactly after thirty days from the day I sent my Grievence form into BCBS, I received a reply. DENIED Now it is time to fight with the company in which my hubby works. For anyone out there who has had to go this far... I NEED YOUR HELP!! I don't know where to start to put together a letter to the Human Resourse Dept. I am open to any suggestions!! Needless to say I have hit Rock Bottom!

Hi Rhonda, DON'T GIVE UP, if we all gave up no one would get their surgery. Call them and ask what they want, what will it take for them to approve your surgery, write letters, send copies of photos, have family and friends write on your behalf. Make them realize you need their help. Make sure your letters from all your Dr.'s have written that it is medically necessary for you to have this surgery. Have you checked with them to see if they require anything like a 6 month Dr. supervised weight loss program, or exclusions regarding weightloss in the insurance packet? Find out about these. Talk with your surgeon, they will fight also on your behalf. May God travel with you on your journey. Kathy
