Dr. Colquitt in Maryville, Tn patients

I am wondering if there is anybody out there that is scheduled for surgery with Dr Mark Colquitt in Maryville, Tn (or Dr. Ray - his partner) between now and October? My RNY is scheduled for October 3rd (80 more days to go!) and I was wondering what those poeple were feeling ? ie. anxious, nervous, excited etc... Thanks for the help! - Charmin

Charmin, I think everyone feels all those emotions pre-op, regardless of who their surgeon is. I'm sure you've done your homework and are being diligent with any pre-op instructions they've given you so try and just relax. Hi Charmin, I agree with Toni. I was to attend his seminar last night, but fell asleep and now I have to wait until August. Think positive, get things done that need to be done, and just enjoy your last summer as obese. Just think, next summer how much fun you are going to have when all that extra weight is off. Hi Charmin, Dr. Colquitt did the lapband on my husband on Tuesday and he is doing great. He went through the same things before surgery that you are going through but is so happy that he made the decision to have WLS. Dr. Colquitt & the staff at Blount Memorial were wonderful. I hope to have lapband surgery before October; don't have a surgery date as Jeannie is just now getting my paperwork together to send to insurance. Hang in there, October will be here before you know it! Steph
