help me please.

I was wondering if there is anyone in the aread of Ft. Campbell that can help me with finding a Dr. I was going to go to Dr. A. Argotte but the staff was very rude to me and refused to send in a referral for my second visit which according to tricare is their responsibility. If they can't get the referral to go through then at least call me to let me know so I could go to my PCM and get them to send it in. They have done nothing. I liked Argotte but his office should not act like to people who need the help to better their lives. That is just my experience others may have better ones. And that is great for them, but not me. William Steely I heard horror stories about him and didn't feel comfortable with him. That is just my feelings. Others may like him alot and feel very comfortable with him. i just need to feel comfortable with someone that is going to be doing this type of surgery on me. I guess you could say I am very picky and that should be. I am having a sugery that could be very dangerous. Please help, I have tricare prime and live on post. I don't know if BACH is doing the surgery again. If someone knows please let me know.

hi jeannette, i know it is very important to feel comfortable with the entire surroundings. i researched doctors quite a bit and i that's how i came across dr. husted in nashville. everyone had great things to say about him and his office staff. when i had my first appointment, i knew right then, this is where i needed to be. discovery health has even documented a couple of his patients. you can check out their web site at www.CCFOS.com the name of thier practice in cumberland center for obesity. i had my surgery in feb and i am only 9 pounds away from reaching 100 pounds gone! dr. husted is one of the best in my opinion. his office staff are also the best. i live in clarksville and to make that drive to nashville was well worth it all. good luck to you and feel free to email me with any questions you may have. piper 330/239/150

ahhhh thank you so much kathy i have been really trying very hard to follow the plan. protein first, then veggies. then ofcourse lots of water and exercise. God is good.....all the time. for some reason or another we get some road bumps but God is there carrying us through and i know that is what he is doing in my life right now and yours big hugs, piper

You might also try Dr.Oxley at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin.He and his nurse Pam are WONDERFUL and the hospital staff was great!!!

Jeannette, I live in Clarksville and had my surgery done by Dr. David Dyer @ Centennial in Nashville. He is great and has been doing the surgery for many years. His clinic has many services to include a nutritionist and exercise expert. I know that Tricare can be very difficult. You might try to call and see if Dr. Dyer is a provider for them. I know their office will do all they can to facilitate getting you what you need. I am 14 months post-op and have lost 125 lbs. I feel great!
