TennCare/Plastic Surgery Question

I know some TennCare plans cover WLS with some surgeons....but I wondered if anyone had reconstructive/tummy tucks/plastics paid for by TennCare? Thanks! Kandy

Hi Kandy, I haven't been able to have my surgery, but I even checked with a Plastic Surgeon in Knoxville about just doing a breast lift and liposcution on my stomach since it pulls on my back. The Dr. one said he would not do it until after surgery, and second he said most Plastic surgeons in TN are for the most part not taking TNCare because of the way it is cutting back. I do wish you all the best in finding one who will accept TnCare. Please post it for those of us on TnCare. Best of luck to you. Kathy
