Tenncare replacement??

Anyone here been dropped from TNcare found an insurance that will cover the WLS? I have TNcare medicaid and am told as of June 30th I will no longer have it. I did not get the opportunity to appeal as my was only "temporary" coverage while they made the decision to deny my disability claim. Now I am left without insurance, not physicially able to work, and filing again for the disibility.....any suggestions. By the way the doctor approved me for the WLS just don't have insurance now. Hi Lorine, what about getting it financed? If you are applying for disability are you applying thru Social Security? Here's some pointers on that, don't take no the first time around. Keep appealing. There is a fantastic lawyer in Goodlettsville, TN that helped me with mine. It took me almost 2 years of appealing, I found her and when it went before the judge it was approved on the spot. She'll come to you. She works on a percentage. Email me and I'll give you her information. Once you are approved, then you will get a Medicare card. Plus you will get SSI which is medicade. You can't be dropped if you are receiving SSI from Social Security. Best of luck, sweetie, you'll get your surgery, you just may have to wait a few months. All good things comes to those who wait.
