Had my sleep study last nite.. If you read my response to TAMMY you'll know that I did not have a good time... It was awful.... What I was wondering was I have completed all the test required by the doctor, there was about 4 or 5 different things, but I was told that I may have to go back for the other sleep study test.. I am going to Vanderbilt and wanted to know if I had to wait for the other sleep test if I have to have it or can I proceed on and finally get a surgeon.

I did not have to go back a second night. They person monitoring me said that I did not stop breathing at all but I snored (lol). SHe explained usually when you return a second night is because your normal sleep pattern showed signs of sleep apnea and you would return to another night of monitoring while hooked to a machine to assist you with your breathing. I had a friend that had to go back a second night but it was within a week of her first appointment. Good Luck! Lisa

Oooops! Sorry Kip Kat I still didn't answer your question. Dr. Richards was my surgeon and I could not proceed until Dr. Hadi's office received confirmation of my sleep study. They would not even send my chart over to Dr. Richards office for his review. It only took 1 week to get all the information after the sleep study although they called and said it would be 2 weeks.
